Enjoyable stay
Hyatt Place Charleston Airport Convention CenterThis was the first hotel I’ve ever taken my rescue dog to. Ground floor pet-friendly rooms - thrilled about that. Close to the back door for easy access to the pet relief area. There are a few small patches of grass right outside the door but a quick few steps across the parking lot is a longer grassy area where a retention pond is for more room to walk/run. Geese and egrets hang out at the pond. VERY well-lit in the back at night. Room was large with a sectional sofa. I was happy to see a bench so my short-legged dog could get up on the high bed. I asked for a door hanger for the room that tells housekeeping I’m not there but my pet is. Dogs are allowed to be left unattended and uncrated. Starbucks, bar and snacks/soft drinks in the lobby and nice breakfast bar in the mornings. It was a comfortable and easy stay. Would give it 5 bones if the A/C weren’t so loud and if there had been USB ports in the room. :)
