Large Quiet Rooms But So So Value
Homewood Suites by Hilton Tucson/St Philip's Plaza UnivRoom was large and very quiet which is helpful staying with a cat. Good location near enough to center of city/ U of A but far enough away to be quiet and just inside foothills so felt safe. However, after paying large pet fee so all told over $260 a night for one person with a basic room (all are suites though), I don’t think such a great value since quality of room, which was clean enough, wasn’t that great. Therefore giving 3 bones because at this price with scuffs on walls, flimsy bedding, and dated interior I’d expect more. I’d suggest paying a few bucks more and staying someplace a lot nicer. Of course if this is all you can afford, then it’s safe, quiet, and decent but not sure it was any better than far cheaper next tier down hotels.
Quiet Rooms, Solid Choice
Red Roof Inn HuntingtonGreat option for traveling with a cat since rooms were very quiet with no hallway as room door opens to parking lot. A little dated but much better room quality then I would have expected for a Red Roof and room was clean. Very friendly front desk staff.
Great Rooms
La Quinta by Wyndham Memphis WolfchaseRooms were very clean and nice, nicer than I’d imagined any La Quinta would be. Parking lot was very bright and safe location with a range of eating options all around.
Very Nice Room
Drury Inn & Suites AmarilloVery nice and spacious room and good breakfast included with booking. Room and property very clean and well maintained. The lobby and overall property very nice and location very convenient to highway with tons of dining options nearby. Hotel honored my request to have a room away from dogs which allowed my cat to be more calm. Definitely highly recommend.
Good rooms, helpful staff
Quality Inn ArenaNo carpet in rooms was great for stay with my cat. Comfy bed. Great to have side entrance for pet friendly rooms so I didn’t have to walk my talkative cat thru the lobby. Staff super helpful and attentive.
