Nice grounds
Virginia Crossings Hotel, Tapestry Collection by HiltonStayed 2 nights while passing through the area. Nice room for us with our dog. The grounds were great for walks. Our little guy lived exploring and when the doors automatically opened, he acted like a king walking into his castle. I might suggest having water bowls and poop bags around the property. Not everyone picked up after their dog.

Great experience
Residence Inn by Marriott GreenbeltOne of the best experiences we have had with our dog. Big space in our room. Not a lot of grounds to walk our dog, but what there was, was fine. The staff lived all over him during check out. The staff made the difference.

Great
Halifax County Visitor Center Dog Runwe were traveling back to New England from Georgia. we saw signs on 95 for the park. it was time for a break anyway, The park is less than a mile from the exit. While the road seemed busy, the dog run is secure and fenced in. my dog who is sometimes shy with new friends ran and played with the other dogs. Owners were friendly also. we were able to pick up lunch and eat at the picnic tables there. Great stop for everyone.
