Great indoors, little green space
Super 8 by Wyndham FrederickWould give 5 bones but so little green space for Ranger. The accommodations were spot on and the staff welcoming and helpful. Plenty of coffee and breakfast bags to start the day. Quiet and clean. The hot water in the sink was near fatal but the shower never got above tepid, not cold but not hot enough to soothe the tired muscles< The chocolate chip cookies were almost enough but hot showers are a thing for me.

Glad to find a dog friendly place
Motel 6 Wilkes Barre PA - ArenaConvenient access to highway with a lot of fast food options nearby. Arrived late afternoon and the room was not ready and after a wait was moved to a second story alternative. Room was large but sparsely furnished with not much to deaden sound (no carpet anywhere). Perhaps it was an ADA designed room? There was limited green space for walking the dog on site but fortunately additional areas were nearby. Lots of fresh coffee in the morning and friendly dog living staff. Was surprised to have to have a refundable $50 pet charge and to sign a special form to assume additional liability for any damages but the charge was quickly reversed within 24 hours so no complaint with that. I’m always glad to find a place that accepts large dogs (mine is a 90 pound Rottweiler) and the rate was very competitive so all-in-all I would not hesitate to rebook on my next trip passing through the area.
