Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Orange an IHG HotelHotel staff was friendly and no hassle on check-in. Lots of grassy areas for the pooch but no designated dog walk which is not a negative. Road construction in the area made it difficult to get around.

Sonesta ES Suites Austin the Domain AreaPet friendly with many pets on premises. Was given a third floor room furthest away as you can get from the elevator which makes it annoying to take the pet for a walk. Room had many carpet stains and a lousy shower (no water pressure). Hotel is dated and could use some remodeling but overall was clean. They did not do any room service for a week so you had to get your own bath supplies. No shampoo and two wash rags and towels for a week but you could get more at the front desk. For the dog it was good but for humans, not so much. Great location.
