Horrible experience!!

The check-in person was very nice and informed me right away that they needed to change my room due to me having a pet. Once I opened the room door, there was a very bad smell but I was too tired to go back to the front desk to inform them. Things progressively got worse! The more I checked the worse it became. The room floor was dirty, the bathroom floor, toilet and bathtub was dirty. I had to wipe the sink and toilet down myself with Clorox wipes that I always travel with just in case.

The bathroom cabinets and doors were chewed up from past pets and even the hair drying was broken. My reason for choosing this hotel was that we lost power in our county, it was pet friendly and close to home. I actually had to go back home to shower in the dark because I refused to get into a dirty tub. I felt that they figured there was going to be a pet in the room so it didn’t matter. My mistake was not telling them and giving them a chance to fix this but I was exhausted and hot from not having power the previous day. I will not be going back to this hotel.
