A place to sleep
Super 8 by Wyndham Newburgh/West Point Near Stewart AirportPROS: Less expensive, easy access, dog friendly. CONS: Multiple security doors left ajar not requiring passkey. Room door difficult to close. Amenities could use a face lift or updating. Smell of smoke in the hallways.

Much Better
Quality Inn Oneonta Cooperstown AreaStaff were helpful. Hotel was clean and comfortable. All of the amenities were in working order. There was plenty of space for my dogs to be dogs. This hotel turned around a rather disappointing couple of days off.

A new stop on a frequent trip
Black Mountain InnAbove all, clean. Nicely furnished with some trendy colors and relaxing tones. Yes, it's an older inn but it is well kept and a good location for our frequent trips from NH, southward. The staff were super nice and the dogs were welcome guests.
