Limited "dog friendly" coffeehouse

It's January and I called to know if they were dog friendly and if the space was reasonable for winter. They said yes and we came on. The coffeehouse is inside a building that is covered with "no pets allowed" signs at every door! They have a TINY cement patio with no heaters and one or two tables. This is not a dog friendly shop, they merely leave an empty dog bowl outside their door on the "patio" and call it a day.
