Not busy, fine room
Quality Inn Calhoun North I-75Not busy at all, they gave us a first floor room that opened right on to the parking. Easy to take the dogs out. But the area we took them too was trashed. Okay people, if you put your dogs poop in a bag, at least put the bag in the trash. All kinds of road trash, nasty area to walk the dog. One good thing, though, they were so empty, we could chase the frisbee off lead in the parking lot. The room was very clean and comfortable anyway. The breakfast looked adequate, but we went to Waffle House anyway. Hotel breakfasts seem to be universally bland anymore. And we needed a better field to let the dogs do what the dogs needed to do. Yes, we picked it all up.
Showing some age
Budgetel Inn & Suites HotelI should have known the lowest priced choice might not be the best. It was sort of clean. It did have a great area for the dogs.
Needed renovations underway
Baymont by Wyndham Kalamazoo WestDogs were happy, but they have a lower standard than I do. Window would not close, temps dropped a bunch overnight, I could see the drapes blowing. TV sucked, a call to the desk got me a hang up. Twice. They need to finish the renovations, then renovate the people working there.
All good!
Quality Inn DaltonEasy to find, some lawn, quiet room, comfortable. They had the heat on before we pulled in! Not a thing to complain about, really.
