Wrong room
Baymont by Wyndham Albuquerque AirportDespite having a confirmation from BringFido for 2-queen studio room, the hotel had none of those rooms held for us. Front desk staff spent a half hour on phone trying to find us something else locally, but we finally gave up and found our own on our own phone in 5 minutes. We have stayed here several times in the past and were satisfied, but we found that we can do better locally. We will not stay there again.

Worth a Visit
Best Western the Oasis at JoplinThe hotel shows its age. Room decor is old, and carpeting is worn and frayed. But notwithstanding the cosmetics, the room was comfortable and clean. The bathroom was small, but we managed. There is a grassy area for your dogs, but a Google search will reveal a nice park, with a fenced dog park, a few miles away (18th & KANSAS). Breakfast is better than most with hearty biscuits and gravy option. Dining options are numerous and conveniently close.

A Different Type of Hotel
Aloft TulsaEdgy design and a unique room layout typifies Aloft. Rooms have all the amenities expected, except microwave oven. We have stayed at Aloft several times because of the dog-friendly policy. Room conditions this time were below standard. 54 degree room temperature raised to 57 overnight. Thermostat unresponsive. Fortunately the comforters on the beds kept us warm. The shower area needs repairs. We thought that housekeeping had rolled a bath mat by the shower door, but it was soaking wet. Silicone gaskets around pivoting shower door were clearly damaged and door did not close entirely. The room had a large screen TV, but no remote control with which to operate it. We like the Aloft chain and we're disappointed with this visit.

Aloft is a great pet friendly option
Aloft WichitaClean room, unique design, comfortable accommodation. We have never been unhappy with stays at Aloft hotels.

La Quinta Disappoints
La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Albuquerque NortheastOur experience with other La Quinta locations was good, but this location misses the mark. Rooms have not been renovated in decades, bathroom floor was dirty and sticky. Toilet seat appears to have been repaired with epoxy. Outright replacement would have been more appropriate. Light visible around door, probably due to defects in weather stripping. Guest in adjacent room cautioned us to be careful as their car had been broken into overnight. No security.
