Gorgeous hotel
Fordson HotelSuch a beautiful conversion of a former Ford plant. The room was lovely, all of the artwork was lovely, and breakfast at the restaurant was delish. It wasn’t open for dinner when we arrived, but we ate at Picasso’s on Paseo (or something like that), which even had its own dog menu with $5 entrees!

Less than desirable guests
La Quinta by Wyndham Houston NW BrookhollowThis is not intended to disparage all guests at the hotel, but the woman staying in the room across from us had a number of male guests throughout the night, including at least one who appeared to be high. Did not feel especially safe.

Convenient to the highway
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham LaGrange / I-85Check-in was smooth. The beds were made, and the room appeared clean at first glance. But when our dogs spilled a bit of water while drinking, my son went to clean it up with a washcloth and what he wiped up was dark gray and filthy. Definitely did not want to remove my shoes after that!
