Just okay
OYO Hotel Shelby MT Hwy 2 & I-15This was about the equivalent of a Motel 6, but at a higher price. Room was quiet and clean, though poorly laid out (desk under TV with no lamp). No breakfast, coffee in lobby was mud. Evening desk guy particularly brusque at check-in, though day lady was friendly. No poop bags available. Would stay there again if no other dog-friendly motel available.
Out of the way but nice place
La Quinta by Wyndham Orem University Pwy ProvoGood room, clean and comfortable. Cracks in the shower surround will cause some moisture issues down the road, hope they fix them. Lots of places outside to walk the dog, with bags and disposal bin in two spots. We left the dog in her crate, walked to Applebee's for supper and stopped at Krispy Kreme for desert.
Nice Place
Brandin Iron InnWe stayed here two days to explore, even though most of the town was still closed. Good room, spacious and comfy. We walked into the park (closed to autos but open to foot traffic) for a ways. Unfortunately, the trails are still snow-covered (and dogs are forbidden, what the heck?) Still, we and the dog enjoyed walking around town. Visited the Grizzly & Wolf Discovery Centre. Took a drive past Quake Lake. Wish we'd been about three weeks later when stores and the park were due to open.
Walk around the Health Complex
La Quinta by Wyndham Las Vegas Summerlin TechNice, spacious room with lots of room for the crate and our big dog (and us!). We had an Accessible room -- didn't need it, just what they gave us. Reasonably clean, no rug on floor. Highlight for me was a beautifully landscaped 1/2 mile walk around the nearby health complex. Lowlight was that the poop bag dispenser was empty and so many inconsiderate owners just left the crap where it lay. I carry my own bags and picked up a half-dozen piles, a drop out of the ocean!
