Good outdoor dog space
Towneplace Suites Marriott MeridianStayed here twice, coming and going on our road trip to OR, we liked it so much! Nice grassy area around the property to walk with my dog. Rooms very comfortable and spacious.
Terrible dog area
Holiday Inn Rock Springs an IHG HotelThe dog area with a "pergola" is a joke! It is at the far edge of the busy parking lot and a mess of dog poop! There were no outside areas to walk my dog. The hallways are very long and outside access is either through the lobby and elevator which my dog was terrified of, or back door stairways with heavy doors. I would not stay here again with my dog.
Great grassy location off I-80
Little America HotelStayed here with my small Dachshund and husband for 1 night. Standard rooms are small and dated. The outdoor areas are what really make this a good stay with dogs, however I was constantly dodging left behind poops in the large grassy areas. At check-in I had to sign a long list of "do's & don'ts" with dogs, which included "pick up after your dog goes". I always do and carry my own bags, but it is obvious many don't.
