Dogs are welcome to join you at the Crooked Wild and Scenic River in Prineville, OR. The dog-friendly area is steeped in history that dates back to Native Americans and later on, the pioneer settlers. One of the most popular things to do is the 2.6-mile round trip hike to Chimney Rock that leads to expansive views of the Crooked River Canyon and Cascades. You can visit the area for a day or spend up to two weeks at one of the many campsites that allows dogs along the river, which is the perfect place for Fido to have a dip.
