Pet Friendly Deschutes River Trail
Deschutes River Trail Deschutes River Trail is a pet-friendly path in Bend, OR. It's an easy, 8.5-mile hike in Deschutes National Forest that will take about 5 hours to complete with Fido. Set out on the Benham Falls trail and go 0.7 mile to Benham Falls. Another 0.2 mile past the Falls you will connect with the Deschutes River Trail. Please note that dogs must be on leash. See Details

Crater Lake National Park Check out the dog-friendly Crater Lake National Park in Crater Lake, OR. Leashed pets are allowed on The Godfrey Glen Trail, Lady of the Woods Trail, Grayback Drive, the famous Pacific Crest Trail and the paved promenade at Rim Village. Sandy River Delta Park Sandy River Delta Park is a pet-friendly recreation area in Troutdale, OR. The trail system consists of 1,000 acres of off-leash trails that lead to the Sandy River where your dog can wade or swim. It can be muddy at times due to Portland's frequent rain. Take I-84 to exit 18, follow the road and cut back under 84, stay straight instead of getting on the on ramp and you will be in doggy heaven! Dogs must remain leashed on Confluence Trail. See Details
Tumalo Creek Kayak & Canoe Enjoy some time with Fido on the Deschutes River with a dog-friendly rental from Tumalo Creek Kayak & Canoe in Bend, OR. Dogs are welcome to join the fun on kayaks, canoes, and stand-up paddleboards. If you want a laid-back river trip, enjoy a tubing trip on the river. Tubes have handles and netting so neither you nor Fido will fall through, although it is still a good idea to make sure Fido is wearing a PFD. All rentals have a minimum two-hour rental period. The Bend store is open year-round, and the Sunriver store is open from April to September. If you’re renting from the Sunriver location, you must be able to transport your own rental to the river as dogs are not allowed on the shuttle. See Details
Ashland Dog Park Pets love to play off-leash at the Ashland Dog Park in Ashland, OR. The 2-acre dog park is fully fenced and has water and waste bags available. The dog area is just off West Nevada Street. Please note that the park is closed on Thursdays for maintenance, but the small enclosure may be used by all dogs during that time. See Details
Smith Rock State Park Smith Rock State Park in Terrebonne, OR is dog friendly! Fido can explore its 650 acres, but must be on a leash no longer than six feet at all times, and owners must clean up after their pet. Clean-up bags and a garbage can are located right before the bridge. Boardman State Scenic Corridor is a dog-friendly spot to enjoy seaside prairies, spectacular vistas, secluded cove beaches, rugged cliffs, and forested sea stacks in Brookings, OR.. The Corridor features a somewhat easy, twelve-mile trail that takes about seven hours to complete with Fido. Pets must be leashed during their visit. Dog owners can start out from the trailhead at the north end of the picnic area and head down the paved path past the pit toilets. Those wanting to continue their trek should ignore the trail that goes left to the beach and keep going straight through a bit of brush before opening up to a nice trail on the other side.
