Set out on the Benham Falls trail and go 0.7 mile to Benham Falls. Another 0.2 mile past the Falls you will connect with the Deschutes River Trail. Please note that dogs must be on leash.

Dogs must remain leashed on Confluence Trail.

Enjoy some time with Fido on the Deschutes River with a dog-friendly rental from Tumalo Creek Kayak & Canoe in Bend, OR. Dogs are welcome to join the fun on kayaks, canoes, and stand-up paddleboards. If you want a laid-back river trip, enjoy a tubing trip on the river. Tubes have handles and netting so neither you nor Fido will fall through, although it is still a good idea to make sure Fido is wearing a PFD. All rentals have a minimum two-hour rental period. The Bend store is open year-round, and the Sunriver store is open from April to September. If you’re renting from the Sunriver location, you must be able to transport your own rental to the river as dogs are not allowed on the shuttle.
