Beautiful Joe’s Leash Free Park is pet-friendly. The name comes from a beloved dog in a popular novel written by a local author. This park has 2 large fenced-in areas, one for small and one for large dogs. There's a water tap, shade, waste disposal bags and a garbage can. Humans can hang out on the picnic benches. Beautiful Joe Park is located just five minutes away and is a great place for an on-leash wander with your pooch. The memorial park nearby even has a stretch of beach just for dogs.

Beautiful park to honour Beautful Joe. There are also memorials/recognition to police dogs, service dogs and beloved pets.
Parking was a bit difficult - we ended up parking along the road on the other side of the river.
