LaPine State Park

LaPine State Park is a scenic dog-friendly area situated on the Upper Deschutes River in La Pine, OR. A quiet, shaded campground connects to over fourteen miles of multi-use trails. This centrally located park also provides access to Deschutes National Forest, Newberry Crater and Lava River Cave. Head to the "Big Tree" day-use area to marvel at Oregon's largest Ponderosa Pine tree which is thought to be 500 years old. Enjoy year-round camping or cozy up in one of five pet-friendly log cabins.
