Along the way, you can stop off at a waterfall after traversing a steep creekside trail through rugged rock formations. The trail is rated moderate and is just over three miles out-and-back. Leashed dogs are welcome, as long as they are cleaned up after. Parking for the trail is signposted on Wasatch Boulevard, just before East Canyon Cove Drive.

Leashed pets can join their owners along the dog-friendly Adams Canyon Trail at Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest in Layton, UT. This out-and-back path is about 3.5 miles long and rated challenging in difficulty. Hikers will experience an elevation gain of a little over 1,000' while they hike to a 40' waterfall at the trail's end. Visitors can also access the Bonneville Shoreline Trail and Great Western Trail from this path.
