The park once formed part of the Inverleith Estate, which had been owned by the Rocheid family since 1665. The park features grassy fields, walking trails, a children's playground, tennis courts, and a small boating pond. The Edinburgh skyline can be viewed from the park. Leashed pups are invited to join their owners on the pretty trails that wind around the park. The park is always open.

Once a private residence, Hamilton & Inches’ showroom was developed into a retail space by renowned architect David Bryce in 1835. The jewellers has held a Royal Warrant as silversmiths to Her Majesty the Queen for more than 120 years. Hamilton and Inches is open Monday through Friday from 9:30am to 5:30pm, Saturday from 9:30am to 5:00pm, and Sunday from 12:00pm to 5:00pm.

The studio welcomes dogs into PT sessions and also offers workplace workouts, nutrition guides and a healthy living yearbook with seasonal recipes. The owner, Tracey, has her own fitness dog named Coco. Griffen Fitness is open Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 8:30pm.
