Ecola State Park Ecola State Park is a pet-friendly recreation area in Cannon Beach, OR. Stroll along the sand with your pup as you both enjoy the ocean breezes. If your pooch prefers trails to sand, you can walk the many miles of beautiful, dog-friendly trails in the park, following the steps of Lewis and Clark to the unforgettable scenic overlooks. Pet Friendly Fort Stevens State Park
Fort Stevens State Park Your on-leash pet is welcome to join you at Fort Stevens State Park in Hammond, OR. Bring Fido out to explore dog-friendly hiking trails, historic attractions, forests, dunes, and beaches. Be sure to explore the historic fort that was built near the end of the American Civil War. Mount Pisgah Trail Mount Pisgah Trail is a pet-friendly hike in Eugene, OR. It's a moderately easy, 7.8-mile trek that will take about 2.5 hours to complete with Fido. While hiking this scenic trail, please remember dogs must be leashed while on the main trail to the summit and under strict voice control on other trails. Park rules require you to clean up after your dogs waste, and harassing wildlife of any kind is strictly prohibited. See Details
Forest Park Forest Park in Portland, OR is dog-friendly! The park features 70 miles of trails and can be accessed from multiple points. Forest Park boasts popular treks such as its five-mile round-trip hike from Lower Macleay Park to the Pittock Mansion, and the thirty-mile Wildwood Trail, which runs through the entirety of the Park. Fido must be leashed at all times while in Forest Park. Dog owners should clean up after their pet and properly dispose of waste bags. See Details
Mt. Bachelor Ski Resort There are so many ways to have fun with your pup at the Mount Bachelor Ski Resort in Bend, OR. Dogs are allowed on the Pine Marten chair lift during the summer months, as long as they are fitted with an owner-provided full body harness capable of safely supporting the animal’s weight in the event a lift evacuation is required. Fido is also allowed on approved dog-friendly hiking trails, but must remain under restricted length (8 feet or less) leash control. Mt. Bachelor does not offer an off-leash area in the summer due to protected wildlife and vegetation. Hiking tickets are available for a fee. During the winter months the resort provides an off-leash, Ruffwear Dog Park. The park has a snow-play area for dogs, as well as dog toys. The park can be found at the far west end of the West Village parking area. The Mt. Bachelor Base Area is a "Doggie Free Zone." Dogs must remain in the parking lot (on a leash) or supervised in the Ruffwear Dog Park. See Details
Springwater Corridor The Springwater Corridor is one of 1600 rail-trails supported by Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, a nonprofit organization that is working to create a nationwide network of trails from former rail lines and connecting corridors. Francis Shrader Old Growth Trail Francis Shrader Old Growth Trail is a pet-friendly path in Gold Beach, OR. It's a moderately easy, 1.5-mile hike in Siskiyou National Forest that will take about 1 hour to complete with Fido. Signs of logging operations are prevalent on the drive to this trail. Hiking this short trail will be a pleasant escape to enjoy the unspoiled forest and its blooming rhododendron. Please note that dogs must be on leash. See Details
Deschutes National Forest The vast majority of the Bend, OR's Deschutes National Forest is pet-friendly and accommodates off-leash opportunities for dogs. From May 15 to September 15, dogs must be leashed in campgrounds, in Three Sisters Wilderness Area (Green Lakes, Moraine Lakes, South Sister, Soda Creek, Todd Lake and Crater Ditch trails), and the Deschutes River Trail (unless they are exiting or entering the water). In winter (November 1 to May 1) dogs are allowed on all but 1% of the Deschutes National Forest. The area where dogs are not allowed is located north of the Cascade Lakes Highway and includes areas accessed by the Virginia-Meissner, Swampy Lakes, Vista Butte and Dutchman Sno-Parks. Dogs are allowed in the area with a permit, for the purpose of skijoring or dog sledding. See Details
Cape Perpetua Scenic Area Fido can look out over the Marine Garden Shoreline from the highest viewpoint accessible by car at the Cape Perpetua Scenic Area in Yachats, OR. Dogs must be on a leash no longer than six feet during their visit to the Scenic Area. The Scenic Area boasts twenty-six miles of trail, which feature old-growth forests, Native American shell middens, the Devil's Churn, tide pools, and stunning views. See Details

Soapstone Lake Trail Soapstone Lake Trail is a pet-friendly hike in Seaside, OR. Pets are welcome on leashes on the rarely-crowded trails of this park. Enjoy the forty-minute walk around the lake. To get there from Portland, take US-26 west, then turn south on OR-53. The trailhead will be on the left after about 5 miles. See Details
