Dog Events in Elloree, SC

This annual event will feature raffles, a DJ, dog activities, including the famous pupcake walk, and more. Hilton Head Humane will have dogs available for adoption!

If you have a Wiener or almost Wiener dog, you cannot miss this annual event! All Dachshunds will be grouped by weight and must be less than 25 lbs to participate. In addition to racing, there will be other activities like a Doggy Parade and Costume Contest! Dachshund-mix dogs may race in special “Almost Wiener” heat, but are ineligible for the grand prize trophy run. Other breeds are ineligible to race, but are welcome to come cheer on their fur friends! Registered dogs need to check in at the registration desk between 9 AM – 10:45 AM.

This festive celebration brings Bavarian flair to the Savannah riverfront with live music performances, dog-friendly activities like the famous Savannah Wiener Dog Races, and spirited contests such as pretzel tosses, pretzel fishing, and stein-holding challenges. Festive favorites including giant pretzels, bratwursts, and seasonal beers are complemented by themed games and plenty of lederhosen-worthy fun in a family-friendly atmosphere.

This dog-friendly fall festival features live music, local food trucks, face and pumpkin painting, gardening crafts, bounce houses and free family activities. Guests can also explore a neighborhood scarecrow showcase featuring creative displays from local businesses and families, with prizes awarded to standout creations.

Get ready for a spook-tacular 21+ evening, where wine, beer and boos come together for a howling good time! Stroll through the beautifully decorated, autumn-themed garden with your furry friend, enjoying fine wines, craft brews and festive fall vibes. Both you and your pup can dress up for a chance to win fang-tastic costume prizes! Tickets include garden admission and three drink tickets.

Join Charleston Animal Society’s annual Pet Costume Contest! For a $10 registration, pets can compete in categories like Best Duo, Most Trending, Best Homemade, Funniest, and Best Inanimate Object, all for prizes. Enjoy live music, kids’ dance activities, stilt walkers, bubble play, spin art, face painting, caricatures, balloon animals, glitter tattoos, trick-or-treating, food, drinks, and a festive marketplace, all while supporting local pets in need.

This annual event takes place in the historic and Starland districts of Savannah and attracts over 1,000 participants with their furry friends each year. Humans and pets dress up in Halloween costumes and follow event maps to over 100 businesses giving out dog treats and goodies. Enjoy photo ops and Wiener Dog races!

Bring Fido out for a spooktacular Halloween celebration! Show off your best costume during the Halloween fashion show on the iconic Liberty Oak stage at 2:30 PM. Costumes are encouraged, and all ages are welcome to take part in the festivities!

Get ready for a spooktacular day of Halloween fun! On event day, check in and Trick-or-Treat bag distribution will be held 9:30 AM-12:30 PM. Costumes are encouraged for kids, adults, and leashed dogs! The costume contest will be held at 12:00 PM.

Leashed dogs are welcome for a fun-filled day to celebrate the fall season! Guests will enjoy live bluegrass music from local bands, BBQ, food vendors, a craft market and much more! Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs and/or blankets as needed.

Line up along Savannah's riverfront to watch over 40 boats decorated in holiday cheer parade down the Savannah River! The parade will be led by the Georgia Queen Riverboat and begin at the Eastern Wharf Dock at the Thompson Savannah Hotel. After passing the panel of judges at the Eastern Wharf Park, the Captains will continue down the river past River Street and Plant Riverside District, ending back at the Eastern Wharf Dock.

Leashed dogs are welcome at this monthly community market featuring local vendors, handmade crafts, seasonal food and drinks, and unique goods from area makers. Visitors can explore a variety of artisan products, fresh treats, and small business offerings while enjoying a relaxed outdoor atmosphere centered on community connection.

The highlight of Savannah’s Waterfront Christmas on the River is the lighted holiday parade! It will start at the Plant Riverside District on the west end of River Street, head to the east end, and then through downtown. The parade features community floats, cars, trolleys, walking groups and more!

Take a stroll with Fido along River Street and enjoy holiday tunes and performances, shop for unique gifts at the pet-friendly merchants, and enjoy the Annual Lighted Christmas Street Parade on Saturday evening!

Leashed dogs are welcome at this monthly event along King Street, between Queen and Calhoun Streets. The street is blocked off to cars and becomes a pedestrian zone where visitors can stroll freely, check out local businesses, enjoy outdoor shopping, admire artwork from curated artists, and indulge in offerings from food vendors.
