Enjoy a community festival featuring hay rides, children's crafts, lawn games, food trucks and local vendors. Meet local authors, browse pet vendors and watch neighborhood dogs take their turn on the red carpet for photos during the Paw-rade. Additional activities include picture stations throughout the park and the second annual Salute to Service Walk.

Leashed dogs are welcome as spectators at this beloved annual event featuring the creations of acclaimed lantern artist Chantelle Rytter, along with hundreds of colorful lanterns crafted by residents, visitors, school groups, and local organizations. The parade starts at Alder Lane Beach Access, travels north along the Coligny Beach coastline, and concludes with a festival at Lowcountry Celebration Park.

Leashed dogs are invited to participate in this annual event that begins at the museum where you'll pick up a trail map and clues. Then, you'll take the 3-mile Battery Trail searching for clues! Finishers who find all the clues can return to the museum to claim a prize (while supplies last!). Please note that dogs aren't permitted inside buildings.

Line up along Savannah's riverfront to watch over 40 boats decorated in holiday cheer parade down the Savannah River! The parade will be led by the Georgia Queen Riverboat and begin at the Eastern Wharf Dock at the Thompson Savannah Hotel. After passing the panel of judges at the Eastern Wharf Park, the Captains will continue down the river past River Street and Plant Riverside District, ending back at the Eastern Wharf Dock.

A beachside fundraising plunge supporting sea turtle rehabilitation at the Georgia Sea Turtle Center. Participants enter the chilly Atlantic to raise funds for sea turtle rescue and recovery. Dogs are welcome as spectators.

Enjoy breakfast at an outdoor table with Fido while supporting Renegade Paws Rescue! Meet adoptable dogs, bring supplies to help pups in need, and give back to the local rescue community. Ten percent of sales will be donated to the organization.

Leashed dogs can join the festive celebration, as the parade kicks off at 4th Street and ends at Tybrisa Street. Enjoy creatively decorated floats, thousands of lights, marching bands, dancers and more. Canned food donations will be collected along the route for the Rising Tyde Food Pantry.

The highlight of Savannah’s Waterfront Christmas on the River is the lighted holiday parade! It will start at the Plant Riverside District on the west end of River Street, head to the east end, and then through downtown. The parade features community floats, cars, trolleys, walking groups and more!

This annual night time parade welcomes guests and leashed dogs to enjoy the floats, trailers, motorcycles, bands and Santa Clause! The parade begins at 5:30 PM leaving from Howard Coffin Park and goes down Gloucester Street with a brief stop in front of City Hall.

Pets can dress as Santa, reindeer, elves, or other creative characters while participants enjoy seasonal fun and support a local cause. The event is part of the Tybee Island Holiday Market! Register in advance or in person on the day of the event by 12:45 PM.

Guests can take photos with Santa and enjoy dog games following the parade near the Liberty Oak Stage.

Weekly open-house visits let the public meet rescued farm animals and learn about the sanctuary’s work. Visitors are welcome to bring well-behaved, leashed dogs to stroll the grounds and meet volunteers. This event is held weather permitting.

Leashed dogs are welcome at this walk-thru holiday light show! Just be sure to stay on the path and clean up after your pup. You'll find dog treats in The Dogg Pound area. The display is weather permitting; check their website for updates on closures.
