      Better than expected

      After reading the reviews, I was skeptical, but was pleasantly surprised. The outside was a little dingy, but the room was clean, large and comfortable. The two girls at the front desk were very nice. I would take a bone off for the accumulated trash outside the door. I get it....people are slobs. Maybe two trash cans on a weekend would be helpful. The close proximity to a great little diner wins back half a bone. The Vernon Diner was a gem.

      Dog was welcome, but wouldn't stay again

      Out of all the dog friendly hotels in this area, we went with this one because it had balconies, a pool, and a free continental breakfast. We got no balcony, pool was closed, and they don’t offer breakfast. It was also not very clean, lots of stains in random places, has a bit of a smell. It's definitely a hotel where people go to party. Doesn’t feel incredibly safe. It was fine to stay in for a couple nights, but I wouldn’t stay again. We did appreciate that there were no issues having our dog there.

      Dog-friendly but shoddy

      It's a good place for dogs because it has a new, dog-resistant floor, but the overall hotel condition is shoddy. Ripped wall corner in the room, shattered outside lobby glass, security door that doesn't shut, and guys smoking dope in their car in the hotel parking lot at 10 PM. No excuse for any of this, it can all be fixed.
