Easy stopover
Days Inn by Wyndham Fayetteville-South/I-95 Exit 49The facility had large, clean rooms. The bed was comfy. I liked that it had a large grassy area to walk the dog and provided disposal bags and a waste station. We would stay here again.
Just okay
Red Roof Inn Hartford - VernonThe room was clean and spacious. It was quiet. The site said breakfast, but there was none. The outside area for pets was non-existent. Small patches of grass beside the walkway. The area in the back was quite littered. No waste disposal area for poop bags. The girl who checked us in was very nice.
Dog loved it
SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western FayettevilleThe room was clean, roomy and on the first floor. There was a nice grassy area right outside the door. The price was reasonable. The freezer in the fridge was large enough to put our travel freezer packs, which was a nice surprise. My only complaint was that the non-smoking room smelled like stale smoke when we first entered.
Overall, ok
Red Roof Inn & Suites WilsonWe got a room, but it was a smoking room and it was stinky. Even the towels smelled like stale smoke. It was otherwise a well maintained room. The morning receptionist/breakfast girl was super attentive and friendly.
Better than expected
Days Inn by Wyndham VernonAfter reading the reviews, I was skeptical, but was pleasantly surprised. The outside was a little dingy, but the room was clean, large and comfortable. The two girls at the front desk were very nice. I would take a bone off for the accumulated trash outside the door. I get it....people are slobs. Maybe two trash cans on a weekend would be helpful. The close proximity to a great little diner wins back half a bone. The Vernon Diner was a gem.
Very nice
Motel 6 Savannah GA- Gateway & I-95We had a great room on the first floor with a great well lighted, grassy courtyard right outside the door. Very nice.
Just ok
Super 8 by Wyndham Aberdeen MDWe booked a king, but got a room with 2 queens. They said they didn’t have a pet friendly room with a king available, even though I booked it on BringFido. What really boggled my mind was that it was on the 3rd floor with no elevator. Who puts a pet friendly room on the 3rd floor?
