Pet Friendly Campgrounds in New York State

Camp Caledonia is pet friendly! Dogs of any size are allowed for no additional fee. Cats may also be allowed by request.

Rondout Valley Camping Resort Park Model 11 allows 2 dogs of any size at each site. An additional fee of $50 per pet, per stay applies when renting a cabin. Vaccination records are required at check-in. Please note that pets are not permitted in the Rec Hall or other buildings, restaurant, playground, pool or beach area.

HTR Niagara allows 3 pets of any size for an additional fee of $50 per pet, per stay. Both dogs and cats are allowed, but pets may not be left unattended in rooms. There is a dog park on the property.

HTR Adirondacks welcomes three pets of any size for an additional fee of $10 per pet, per night. Both dogs and cats are allowed, but pets may not be left unattended in rooms.

Jellystone Park at Birchwood Acres allows pets of any size for an additional fee of $75 per room, per stay. Both dogs and cats are welcome.

Firelight Camps allows dogs of any size in designated rooms for an additional fee of $50 per stay. Sorry, no cats. Dogs are welcome at non-electric tent sites.

Huttopia Lake George - Adirondacks allows 1 dog of any size for an additional fee of $25 per night. Sorry, no cats. Please note that pets cannot be left unattended.

Emerald Glen Getaway welcomes up to three dogs of any size in cottages, cabins, and tents for no additional fee. If staying with 4 dogs please be advised that lodgings are limited to Bark 3 and Bark 4 Cottages only. A fee of $60 will apply. If staying with 5 dogs please be advised that lodgings are limited to Bark 5 Cottage only. A fee of $100 will apply. If you have multiple dogs, you need to be able to manage them all. Please keep your dog in your sight and under your voice control and keep your dog from acting aggressively or overly rambunctious towards other dogs or people. There is a no tolerance rule regarding dog bites. If your dog bites someone, you will be asked to leave.

Dogs are allowed (non-aggressive breeds only) at Kenneth L. Wilson Campground for no additional fee, but they must be kept on a leash no longer than 6 feet when outside your vehicle. They are allowed at the tent sites and cabins on the leash. Pets are allowed with proof of a currently valid rabies vaccination in the form of a current year's tag or a certificate issued by the veterinarian. Campers can walk dogs on a leash no longer than six feet as long as the animal is under control. Dogs cannot be left unattended and are not allowed in facility structures, on the beach, in the boats, or in day use areas. There are fenced dog runs on the property.

Dogs are allowed at Evangola State Park Campground, but they must be kept on a leash no longer than 6 feet when outside your vehicle and properly cleaned up after.
