Don’t bother

If I could give this outfit zero bones, I would. When we arrived, having requested a room on the first floor, we were told that pet rooms were only available on the second floor? OK, where’s the elevator? There is no elevator. That’s a problem, my wife is handicapped. Oh, let me call the manager. Time passed. In a few minutes, a surly woman appeared and told me she wasn’t going to stand there and argue with me. You got that right, give me my money back (prepaid through BringFido). That will take several days she said. And there are no other places in town that take pets, she lied. We went up the street about a block and checked into the Quality Inn, which takes pets, including our 120lb Rottweiler-Lab mix.

After a long day on the road, this was the only time we’ve encountered such unresponsive, surly, lying behavior in decades of traveling with our dogs. You’ve been warned.
