AC would not turn off
Hampton Inn NeedlesThe hotel was clean and the staff was helpful but the AC fan would not turn off. Even maintenance could not turn it off. So we were forced to move to a new room with a $20 discount. But, with a $50 pet fee, this hotel was $213 for Needles, CA. Yes, you read that right. Needles!

Good Location for NAU

Very nice clean hotel
Comfort Suites Gallup East Route 66 and I-40This hotel is a Purple Heart Hotel dedicated to veterans and the lobby is full of interesting stories. The room was clean the staff was friendly. The bathroom shower wasn't the best but it was OK. Gallup doesn't have a lot going for it but the mural is the historic downtown are worth a look or two.

Clean but old
The Classic Desert Aire HotelClean but on the old side and very small bathrooms. The location was on the main road, like most of these motels. This being NM there really wasn't a green area to walk the dogs.

Loud air conditioner
La Quinta by Wyndham Albuquerque WestThe staff was very accommodating when we needed them to hold our bags due to an early arrival. The bed was very good but when we turned on the heater it triggered the smoke alarm. At least we know it works.

Clean, spacious room
Hampton Inn LordsburgAlthough we are not handicapped we got the handicap room, 103. Plenty of space. Larger than normal bathroom. Good breakfast room helpful plentiful staff. If you have to be in Lordsburg with your dog we recommend it. But there is nothing special about Lordsburg. It was just a way station for us.

Worn down
La Quinta by Wyndham Phoenix Mesa WestThis La Quinta is old and worn down. The elevators are a mess and SLOW. The hallways were filthy and needed vacuuming. The outdoor trash was overflowing. The WIFI was 4 download and 0.8 upload. There was very little grassy area for the dog. Staff was nice.

This Motel 6 is lacking
Motel 6 Medford OR - NorthThis Motel 6 is at the low end of the Motel 6 universe. Although the room was clean and cheap the motel itself was lacking. Unlike many other Motel 6 locations this room had no microwave, no mini fridge, no hairdryer and no in-room coffee machine. Plus it had no shampoo or hair conditioner for the shower. Added to that, the location is very awkward because it is surrounded by roads and overpasses which makes it very difficult to go anywhere once you’re here. We wanted to travel 200 yards to a supermarket but it was a six minute drive time just to get there, or 22 minutes to walk there. As for the dog, there is no real area for the dog to walk and take its time to pee and poop. They’ve got a very small patch of grass, not much larger than 15‘ x 15‘. Access to any place to where the dog can really do what the dog needs to do is lacking. We recommend you and your dog find a better Motel 6 or other location. You might want to check out the Rogue Regency next-door.

Decent Room but very loud
Solvang Inn & CottagesIt was a decent room but the traffic noise from the main road in Solvang was very loud and the WIFI was terrible.

Great Hotel, Great Staff
Hampton Inn & Suites Phoenix GoodyearWe're traveling a lot in the last two months and we've stayed in several Hampton properties. This one in Goodyear is clearly the best we've even stayed in and much bette than even more expensive hotels we've found in bigger cities. We highly recommend this Hampton.

Very Substandard Motel.
Tahitian InnWe booked this place because they would take a dog in South Tampa. It wasn’t even worthy of the dog. there was no hot water in the first room they gave us. In the second room they gave us....the heater wasn’t working. Temperature outside on December 27 was 40°. Inside the room in the mid 50s. Bath tub was a mess with discolored cracked tub leaking on to the floor and the drain was SUPER slow. The room had no working smoke detector just dead disconnected wires hanging from the ceiling and dead cockroaches on the floor. in a word it was a dump. We booked for three nights but we left after one and got a full refund. We suggest you find some other place to stay.
