Ok for 1 night
Red Roof Inn KingsportNo dogs allowed in lobby, which was strange for dog friendly place. I ignored the sign because it was hot, and I wasn't leaving dog in the car. The room was clean but worn and missing some amenities (shampoo). Breakfast area was dirty with emptied out serving trays. No staff at the front desk to request assistance.

Great experience
Country Inn & Suites by Radisson Abingdon VAVery convenient location right off highway with lots of nearby food and services. Staff was very welcoming.
Be aware they have added nightly pet fee that was rather high...$35 I think.
Nice they had the pet-friendly rooms near the lobby on the first floor. I understand reason for no carpet on floor, but small area rugs would be nice. And it would muffle some barking or other noises. Also, my dog had to use bench to get on the bed as it was very high. Would stay there again!

Nice experience
La Quinta by Wyndham Knoxville Central PapermillGreat location. Big room with lots of space. Clean but some disinfectant smell. A can opener for dog food would have been helpful...had to try 2 convenience stores to find one when mine was broken.
