Just okay
First Choice Inns at the SwellThe lobby was nice. The room was okay, except the shower didn’t work. Breakfast was just okay when it was stocked. They started putting things away 45 minutes before time. They didn’t restock anything unless asked. Waffle maker didn’t work. It was a place to stay. Wouldn’t go there again.

Not Great
La Quinta by Wyndham Albuquerque Journal Ctr NWI will start with positives. Or room was clean and so was the bathroom. The staff was great, very friendly and responsive. The location was convenient. Parking was well lit. They welcome pets, which is why we booked here. The hotel is very much in need of maintenance. The carpet is old and needs replacing, especially in the halls. The guest dryer didn't work (which we found out after we washed our clothes). We're had to take the laundry to a laundromat to dry. Breakfast was a sack of snacks. The elevator had indicator lights out and there was a sticky spill in it that wasn't cleaned up during our three day stay. One of our lamps, the microwave, and the mini fridge didn't work. Luckily we had a cooler, but I had to go to a different floor for it since the one on our floor was out of order. All in all, I wouldn't stay here again. There were just too many negatives.
