Wonderful

Paradise Plaza Inn has been our go-to hotel in Ocean City for many years. We were going to try to stay at Park Place on 2nd Street to be closer to all of the shops and restaurants on the lower portion of the boardwalk. Park Place would not permit me to have my Emotional Support Animal with me for my stay, so I cancelled the reservation with them. I reverted back to our reliable hotel that allows pets. I tried to book with Paradise Plaza Inn online, but only a King room was showing and that wouldn't work for 3 separate individuals.

I called right away and spoke with the lady at the front desk and she was able to get me into a "Roof Deck" room with 2 queens and a sleeper sofa. PERFECT! When we arrived, which was early, the room was ready. Room 602 may very well be our new favorite room after staying in 702 many times. The roof deck was perfect for my dachshund to run around and enjoy time outside without being confined to the small balcony. The staff was very kind and caring. The room was mostly good - the mattress on the sleeper sofa was quite worn.

The hotel as a whole was pretty good, only one elevator was working as the other one was out of service and awaiting a part, and there were a few cosmetic things that could be improved. HOWEVER, I am not holding any of the issues against the hotel. Their ability to get me in on a short notice, their pet-friendly policies, the amazing room/roof deck, and reasonable pricing negates all of the things that were subpar. We definitely will be back and will be aiming to stay in 602 as much as possible. Finny loved his OCMD trip and hotel stay. Thanks so much Paradise Plaza Inn!!
