Give Fido a bird’s-eye view of the picturesque Willamette Valley on an aerial journey across Oregon wine country. A featured attraction in the latest edition of our book, Ruff Guide to the United States, Tour DeVine’s VIP experience begins in McMinnville with a pre-flight breakfast and glass of bubbly. You and your pooch will then be whisked away by helicopter to begin your winery-hopping adventure. The tour includes two or three winery visits and three or four helicopter flights. Along the way, you can sample some of the region’s famous Pinot Noirs, while your pooch explores the winery grounds. A gourmet picnic lunch is provided during your second stop. Choose from one of three popular tour options, or customize the tour to visit the dog-friendly wineries of your choice.

Stay in the heart of the Willamette Valley at the historic McMenamins Hotel Oregon in McMinnville. The handsome, red-brick building was built in 1905 and retains many original fixtures and accents, including porcelain sinks in the guestrooms and period furnishings. Food bowls and waste bags are available at the front desk, and Fido can join you for a craft brew at the hotel’s pub or rooftop bar.
