Their lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable animals from being euthanized. They are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.

With campuses in Escondido, Oceanside and San Diego, they provide animal services for 12 cities within San Diego County. They not only care for 50,000 animals in our communities, but also share the expertise they have gained through their innovative programs with shelters nationwide so they can save more lives in their communities.

While their influence is expanding nationally, their top priority is meeting the needs of San Diego. They provide exceptional care for all animals through world-class veterinary medicine, shelter and most of all: love.

(Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) is a 501 (c) (3) tax-exempt corporation which staffs and manages the Dare County Animal Shelter. The Outer Banks S.P.C.A. provides a loving environment and temporary housing for lost, stray, or unwanted domestic animals in Dare County. Labradors and Friends Dog Rescue Labradors and Friends Dog Rescue Group, Inc. is 501c3 animal rescue group dedicated to rescuing labrador retrievers and labrador mixed breed dogs in Southern, Central and Northern California and placing them in loving homes. Founded in 2007, the all-volunteer group is comprised of experienced men and women who work passionately to save dogs from local shelters. Their volunteers are dedicated to changing the fate of labrador retrievers. Their volunteers include countless men and women who open their hearts and homes to our rescues in need. Pine Valley Shih Tzu Rescue Pine Valley Shih Tzu Rescue is a 501(c)(3) no-kill organization in Philadelphia, Pa. They rescue abused, abandoned, and homeless dogs including those who may have behavior issues that can be rehabilitated. Pine Valley Shih Tzu Rescue uses foster homes to provide sanctuary and training in a loving and caring environment. Save A Yorkie Rescue We are not a shelter - we have no building. We are a rescue and our Yorkies are in family homes in 6 different states throughout the northeast.

We take in Yorkies who need a home and rehabilitate them, vet them. Then we find wonderful homes for them.

We can give advice about Yorkies and their health needs.

German Shepherd Rescue of Orange County German Shepherd Rescue of Orange County (GSROC) is a non-profit 501c(3) charity organization dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and re-homing purebred German Shepherd Dogs that have no where else to turn. They are an all volunteer organization with no paid staff. They are funded entirely by private donations and receive no government support. Dogs for adoption are housed in foster home situations and in private boarding facilities. Currently, they do not own their own kennel facility, but their dream is to have one some day so that they can eliminate the tremendous expense associated with boarding the dogs while they wait for their forever families. Long Beach Animal Care Services The vision of Long Beach Animal Care Services is to become California's safest large city for people and animals through a proactive strategy of community engagement and enforcement activities. The City of Long Beach provides animal care services to four contract cities, including Cerritos, Seal Beach, Signal Hill and Los Alamitos. Services at the shelter include adoptions, volunteering and licensing. The shelter is open admission and will accept relinquished or stray animals from residents and neighborhoods within the jurisdiction. See Details
