Lone Star Bark Bring Fido out for an exciting event filled with fun and games! Dogs can search for hundreds of treats and toys in the Bone Hunt, and partake in a host of carnival games including Doggie Limbo, Bobbing for Tennis Balls, Musical Mutts, Catch-The-Treat, the Rubber Ducky Challenge, and the popular dog races! Humans can enjoy live music, visit numerous food trucks and pet vendors, have pictures taken with your pet, and finish the day with a silent auction of paw-some prizes. Gates open at noon. Once you cross the finish line, you'll receive a free craft beer from Billsburg Brewery, a choice of a collector’s pint glass or seasonal swag item from the Brewery Running Series, a chance to win sweet door prizes, and access to event festivities like live music, games, goodies and giveaways. 916Vegans Block Party Leashed dogs can join their owners at this event featuring plant-based foods, live music, family activities and more. Visitors can treat themselves to vegan dishes from food trucks, browse local vendors, and partake in the day's free activities like face painting, yoga and dance lessons. Dog Mother's Day at Wheeler Historic Farm In honor of National Dog Moms Day, Wheeler Historic Farm is celebrating with this fun event! Bring your pup to the farm for a treat, crafts, and a wagon ride! Enjoy a selection of photo opportunities to capture the perfect picture of your pup with the farm as the background. Your pup can run around the off-leash area, and take home a keepsake made by your pup with love.

This event is open by pre-Registration only, Mom & Pup cost $15, which includes everything listed above, the charge per extra person is $8 which includes a pastry, beverage and wagon ride.

EVENT RULES: Dogs must be well-behaved and well-socialized. Dogs must have current vaccinations. One dog per adult handler. Stoop and Scoop rules apply; please come prepared with your own bags. Dogs must remain on a leash at all times. No retractable leashes please.

Paws for a Cause 5K Run and Strut your Mutt 1M Walk Show off your dog as you run/walk in the 5k race or 1-mile walk and take part in the adjoining Dogapalooza activities by Elkhart County Parks. Both courses are looped trails and awards will be given to qualifying humans immediately after the 5k race. Check-in begins at 9:30 AM. The 5k starts at 10:30 AM and the 1-mile walk begins at 11:30 AM. Registration for both the run and the walk includes a t-shirt. Nassau County SPCA Animal Abuse Awareness Parade & Adoption Event All animal lovers are invited (with or without their pet), to march in this parade down Main Street to show their support for animals.
