When you want to really spoil your dog, or just meet other dog owners who are as crazy about their pets as you, there’s no better place to bring Fido than a dog event. Attend any of the dog shows, agility competitions, costume parades, festivals or fundraisers on our Dog Events Calendar and you’ll meet, hundreds maybe even thousands, of dog lovers. And since 70% of the events listed benefit humane societies, attending one is a great way to help homeless pets too.

Pet Friendly Lake Hopatcong Block Party
Lake Hopatcong Block Party Come enjoy Main Street in a beautiful lakeside setting. This event will have booths from businesses, non-profit organizations and community groups. There will be crafts and food vendors as well! You and Fido will stay entertained with raffles, a scavenger hunt and more. Leashed dogs are welcome to join in on the fun, but four-legged attendees are not permitted on the beach. Please note that there is limited parking on site and dogs are not allowed on the shuttles. Pet Friendly Canine Carnival
Canine Carnival Spend an afternoon honoring the working and playing dogs of the community! Learn about dogs and their wolf relatives, meet dog related service providers, and visit with an eclectic group of vendors while enjoying a variety of impressive dog demonstrations. PJ’s Grill will be on-site with a delicious meal selection, and Bent Brewstillery will be providing beverages. If bringing Fido, make sure they stay on their leash during your visit. See Details
Orlando Vegan Market Leashed dogs are welcome at this market which features 20+ vendors serving up delicious vegan food or selling vegan products. There will also be drinks, live entertainment, crafts, and art on display. See Details
Palos Park Doggie Dash Once you and your pup have finished the course, stick around the post-race village to enjoy some food, explore booths of local pet-themed vendors, play some games and more! They will hold a "Pup Parade" at 10:15 AM, where all dogs are welcome to participate and prizes will be given out. For everyone's safety during this 5k & 1-mile run/walk, all dogs must be leashed (this includes the race and post-race), and leashes longer than 6 feet will not be allowed. See Details
Hike for Holiday Magic - 7-Bridges Spring Edition Bring Fido to this fun hike to walk around San Diego's beautiful Balboa Park and surrounding neighborhoods and over the famous seven bridges! Begin at Chiefy Cafe - Hillcrest, enjoy a complimentary map, coffee, and pastry, then traverse the scenic route with walking guides or at your own pace. Petapalooza This event features lovable, adoptable homeless animals from shelters and rescues in the Central PA area. Your pup is welcome to come! In addition to helping animal rescues, this event will also feature vendors, raffles, live music, Barkby Plunger's Dog Course Luring, food trucks and The Pet Parade to raise additional money for the animal shelters and rescues. Will Run For Cookies! A Dakin Humane Society 5K Bring Fido out for a run or walk, enjoy a cookie, and support Dakin Humane Society! Will Run for Cookies features a 5k run/walk and 2k walk option. Early bird registration includes an event shirt and a cookie for human and dog participants. General registration includes a cookie for human and dog participants. Sip & Swine BBQ Festival Enjoy barbecue, live music, shopping from local vendors and more at this free, family-friendly event supporting a great cause! There will be professional and backyard teams cooking up chicken, pork and beef plates, plus a variety of other food offerings.
