When you want to really spoil your dog, or just meet other dog owners who are as crazy about their pets as you, there’s no better place to bring Fido than a dog event. Attend any of the dog shows, agility competitions, costume parades, festivals or fundraisers on our Dog Events Calendar and you’ll meet, hundreds maybe even thousands, of dog lovers. And since 70% of the events listed benefit humane societies, attending one is a great way to help homeless pets too.

Pet Friendly Dog Day at White Birch Bay
Dog Day at White Birch Bay Bring Fido to enjoy a splash at the local aquatic center with other water-loving canines! All dogs must be recently bathed and provide proof of a current DHLLP and rabies vaccine at the door. Pups must also wear an ID tag at all times and always be accompanied by an adult human. Pet Friendly Alumapalooza
Alumapalooza This annual event is for both RV owners or those aspiring to own one! The event features camping, seminars, entertainment, door prizes, gifts and more. Leased pups are welcome. All brand of RVs are welcome. See Details
Drool at the Pool Fido's invited to take a dip in the pool as it closes for the season! Owners must provide current vaccine records for each dog (valid through event date). Humans are free and are welcome to wade, knee-deep, but no swimming is allowed. There will be two time slots: 5:00 PM until 6:30 PM or 6:45 PM until 8:15 PM. Limited walk-ins will be available. Dog Splash Bring your pup or pups out to enjoy an end-of-summer swim in any of the three pools. All dogs in attendance must bring proof of current Rabies and Bordetella vaccinations. Please note that there's a limit of three dogs per handler, and all handlers must be at least 18 years of age. See Details
PuppyPalooza Bring Fido to the ball game as the Clippers take on the Durham Bulls. To participate, you must fill out the order form and waiver. Be sure to arrive early and line up above section 23 by 5:55 PM. See Details

Paws in the Pool After the water park closes to humans for the summer, the dogs are invited to play! There will be three time slots for pups under 45 lbs and two 35 lbs and up categories. Dogs with mobility issues or who are elderly are welcome to join the smaller category group. A photo contest, vendors and a veterinarian for vaccinations will be on site. Doggie Splash & Pet Expo Reserve your pup's spot to participate in this end-of-summer pool party! There will be three, one-hour sessions (8:00 AM - 9:00 AM, 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM and 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM) with a 30-minute break in between. To ensure safety, owners must stay at the event, humans aren't allowed in the pool and dogs must have proof of current vaccinations. See Details
Puppy POOLooza Small dogs under 30lbs will have open swim from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM and then all dogs are invited to two open swims from either 11:30 AM until 12:30 PM, or from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Puppies must be at least six months old and have current shot records upon entry to the event. Health Safety Board Regulations that humans are not permitted to swim with dogs. Liberty Bell Pool Dog Splash and Luau Join the fun at Georgia's largest spring-fed pool where dogs can swim freely, with music, contests, and activities like dog matches and best tricks. Be mindful that humans aren't allowed in the pool, and you must pre-register and bring proof of rabies vaccine. See Details
Caribbean Food Fest Leashed dogs are welcome along as you enjoy great Caribbean cuisine from various food vendors. There will be live reggae music, local craft vendors, beer and wine available, and more! See Details

PAWS Chicago’s PAWS Chicago 5K Walk/Run Bring Fido to Chicago's largest dog-friendly charity event - a fun (and safe) 5K walk/run to save the lives of homeless pets. PAWS 5K raises funds to support the life-saving work of PAWS Chicago. Guests will enjoy sponsor giveaways, a dog agility course, a pet spa with dog massages, a photostation and other fun photo ops, raffles, treats, and more.
