Wayyy overpriced just an overall bad stay
Country Inn & Suites by Radisson Belleville OnWe stayed a total of 4 nights at this hotel but will never stay again. The pool was cloudy and murky the first day and then was closed for the remainder of our visit. I chose this hotel specifically for the added pool feature so this was a huge let down. The hotel was busy so breakfast was a gong show. Waffle maker blowing the breaker so food not cooking right, out of utensils, out of food, coffee, condiments. Nowhere to sit and no trays to carry food back to your room. The elevators are painfully slow, sometimes needing to wait 4 or 5 trips during the peak hours which also makes the stairs busy. Twice staff with housekeeping carts took up an elevator while there was a long line of guests waiting. The rooms were ok but with the US exchange on the website we ended up paying over $300 per night!! It is officially the most expensive hotel I have ever stayed at but in no way should be booked at that price. When I questioned the front desk about how much that room typically costs per night, the front desk clerk ran around the issue never giving us an answer. A quick search shows the rate as $160 for a long weekend rate. The front desk clerk said the rates were set by bring fido and they were not able to make any changes. When I know we stayed at a different hotel during our trip and they adjusted the rate we paid because they offered a better rate than what we booked. I just am sick to my stomach that a 4 night stay cost us over $1200 for a sub par 2 star hotel.
Great for pets
Delta Hotels by Marriott Sault Ste Marie WaterfrontEasy check and a great location for pets. A beautiful river front walk with a park right next door. Doggie baggies at every exit.
Clean and Friendly
Delta Hotels by Marriott Saskatoon DowntownNo issues at all checking in with the pets. Clean and nice hotel and guest services were very pleasant at check in.
Not a pleasant surprise
Victoria Inn Hotel and Convention Centre WinnipegUpon checking in, there was a literal poop smear on our toilet seat. The hotel was notified and sent someone to clean it and provided free breakfast coupons. We also found hair and dirt in the shower, a nut shell on the floor and toenail clippings on our floor. The pool was overcrowded especially with the concerns about the pandemic. Overall, very disappointing because we stayed here 10 years ago and enjoyed our stay.
